Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): This federal program offers a one-time payment to qualified households to help with heating costs. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis between November 1 and April 30 each year.

Crisis funds: Additional LIHEAP funds may be available for households facing financial hardship, even if you've received LIHEAP assistance.
