Set up Automatic Payment for your Alliant Energy bill

How it works

With Automatic Payment, your bill is paid automatically with the choices you set up in advance:

• Your payment method: Bank account, credit card or debit card.
• Payment date: On your due date or up to 10 days early.

How to enroll in Automatic Payment

Automatic Payment is available through My Account. See the video and list below for step-by-step enrollment instructions.

Not enrolled in My Account? Learn more about My Account and enroll.

• Log into My Account.
• Click on the Billing tab.
• Click on "Automatic Payment."
• Select "Enroll in Automatic Payment."
• Choose a mode of payment.
• Choose a method of payment.
• Select a payment schedule day.
• Agree to the Terms of Use.
• Click "Enroll."
