We began constructing the Creston Solar Project in mid-2023 and completed it in late 2024. We expect over the life of the project it will generate over $1.2 million in local school district revenue, over $270,000 in total county property taxes for Union County and approximately $1.9 million in total property taxes for all taxing districts. In addition to the solar field, the site also hosts the Creston battery energy storage system.
