Virtual Energy Optimization

A virtual energy-saving program for our business customers in Iowa.

A quick, simple way for your business to save

In partnership with Power TakeOff, we offer select small and midsize businesses a way to optimize and reduce energy usage without an in-person site visit.

A trained energy advisor will virtually analyze your facility's energy data and reach out with information if they determine you may benefit. The evaluation is fast and easy, with no equipment criteria, fees or enrollment paperwork.

We offer this complimentary service only to select Iowa business customers Power TakeOff identifies through remote analysis. Since 2019, Power TakeOff has helped program participants reduce energy use an average of 15%.

How it works

  • Utility meter data analysis: A remote analysis provides insight into your facility’s energy use and identifies unexpected usage and waste.
  • Personalized recommendations: A trained energy advisor provides guidance through ongoing communication with recommendations for your facilities that are easy to implement and cost little or nothing.
  • Virtual delivery: There’s no on-site or in-person audit. You’ll communicate with an energy advisor by email or phone.
  • Measured results: Your dedicated energy advisor will measure and verify your savings, so you’ll see the direct effects of your adjustments.

What to expect

If the remote analysis of your meter data confirms you may benefit from the Virtual Energy Optimization program, an energy advisor from Power TakeOff will contact you. They’ll provide personalized recommendations based on your facility's unique energy usage and your business’s priorities.
