Alliant Energy® Fleet Electrification Advisory program for Wisconsin customers

Through the program, your organization will receive a comprehensive fleet electrification assessment and actionable fleet electrification roadmap, including:

• Evaluation of current fleet operations (vehicle types, usage, mileage, retirement schedules).
• Identification of suitable replacement battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).
• Total cost of ownership analysis.
• EV charging needs analysis.
• Site readiness assessment.
• Greenhouse gas emissions analysis.
• Charging infrastructure and installation strategy.
• Identification of applicable incentives, grants and tax credits.

We partner with a third-party fleet electrification advisory services consultant to:

• Collect and evaluate fleet-specific data.
• Perform the fleet electrification analysis.
• Develop and deliver the final assessment reports and recommendations.
• Provide post-assessment support services.

We expect participants to:

• Provide necessary fleet and operational data for the analysis.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and meetings throughout the assessment process.
• Review assessment outputs and engage with the fleet electrification advisory services team.
• Support timely completion of the assessment.

Typically, this process takes 2-4 months, but varies depending on fleet size, complexity, and data availability.

Our team will provide an estimated timeline upon enrollment.

If our team does not deliver the report within the agreed timeframe (and no delays are the fault of the customer), we’ll refund the deposit.

Deposits must be received during the enrollment process.

We’ll invoice the deposit separately from your normal utility bill.

If you use auto-pay for your normal utility bills, it will not apply to this invoice.

Invoice payments are due within 20 days of the invoice date to ensure we do not hold participation slots indefinitely for customers that decide not to participate.

We refund the deposit if the participating customer does either of the following:

• Installs Level 2 or Level 3 EV charging infrastructure.
• Purchases or leases at least one EV (BEV and/or PHEV).

The participant must meet the criteria within 12 months of receiving the final assessment report to receive a deposit refund.

We will not refund the deposit if:

• The customer installs charging infrastructure or procures EVs after entering into the program but prior to receiving the final report.
• The customer does not complete qualifying actions within the 12-month window.
