About the project

We partnered with the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA on a solar project on land donated to the nonprofit by a community member in Marshalltown, Iowa. This was the first Alliant Energy® Customer-Hosted Renewables partnership with a nonprofit organization. Clean energy generated from the completed project is distributed
throughout the community.
