Step two: Fill out this form to reserve your blocks.

You’ll need the following information to complete the subscription form:

1) The number of solar blocks needed based on your home’s electric usage for the last 12 months. To determine this, please use the calculator above.

2) Alliant Energy account number for the main address you wish to have the credits applied. To find your account number, visit My Account or refer to your Alliant Energy electric bill.

Payment Options


Once your payment is made in full, you will begin receiving bill credits until January 2041.

Option 1: Full payment - Full payment of blocks plus $25 administrative fee will be billed separately.

Option 2: Monthly payment - 10% of the full subscription fee plus the $25 administrative fee will be billed in the first month; with the remainder billed evenly in 11 monthly payments.

Note: For credit card payments, there is a $4,000 limit per transaction and/or per month for residential customers and a $10,000 limit per transaction and/or per month for business customers.
