Ag Lighting
Requirements:
- All lighting fixtures must be installed to qualify for rebates.
- To qualify for lighting rebates, lighting fixtures and controls in livestock barns, milk houses and parlors must meet Iowa Electric Code. They must be sealed (dust-tight and watertight) and corrosion resistant. Fixtures must be UL-listed and must be permanently wired.
- Must supply brand and model number.
- All horticulture fixtures must be ENERGY STAR® or DesignLights Consortium™ (DLC 5.1) qualified. LED units not yet rated may apply for rebate qualification through the Alliant Energy Agricultural LED approval form.
- Fluorescent light bulbs must be disposed of properly. Visit earth911.org or your local recycling center for more information.

*New construction is defined as a building completed any time during the most recent five calendar years, including the current calendar year.

- Can be installed in new or existing construction (rebates vary accordingly).
- Rebate is limited to 50% of equipment purchase price.
