Revert to owner (RTO) Setting: How it works
Some landlords prefer to have service revert to their name between tenants.
When you create a Landlord Property Agreement, all properties in the agreement will revert to your name by default.
You can update this setting in the Landlord Portal or by contacting Alliant Energy.

How can I invite a guest?
Click on “Manage Users,” then find the “Add a Guest” button in the upper right corner. Fill out the form to invite the user you’d like to add as a guest.
How do I start service?
Click on “Service” at the top of the screen. Any services that are on your Landlord Property Agreement and eligible for you to start will appear.
How do I stop service?
Click on “Service” at the top of the screen. Any services that are on your Landlord Property Agreement and eligible for you to stop will appear. You may choose up to 50 properties to stop service at one time. Note: Stopping service does not remove the property from your Landlord Agreement.
How do I remove a property from my Landlord Property Agreement?
From the Manage Properties screen, select the property by clicking the checkbox next to it and then clicking the “Remove” button at the bottom right. This will remove the property from your agreement and cancel any Revert to owner settings that you had previously.
