Why solar?

Clean energy, including solar, has become increasingly cost effective in the last few years. Solar sites generate energy customers can enjoy for years with no added fuel costs and low operation and maintenance costs. With this solar project, the city of Perry showcases its commitment to sustainability.

Alliant Energy will own and operate the City of Perry Solar Project to efficiently deliver affordable, reliable and safe energy to homes, businesses and communities. Partnering with customers to develop solar projects is just another way we keep our customers at the heart of everything we do. For more information, visit poweringwhatsnext.alliantenergy.com.
