Vice President – Marketing, Communications and Community Affairs

Aimee Davis is Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Community Affairs at Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT). She joined the company in 2018, with more than 25 years of experience in developing, leading and executing integrated marketing, communications and brand programs for global matrixed and nonprofit organizations. In her role, Aimee leads a team of talented individuals whose mission is to share stories showcasing how Alliant Energy delivers on its Purpose – serving customers and building strong communities across Iowa and Wisconsin.

Aimee’s leadership extends across the Market Research, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Creative Services functions of the company. Aimee also leads our Community Affairs team and serves as Board Chair of the Alliant Energy Foundation.

Throughout her career, Aimee has successfully guided communications teams to think beyond tactical execution. As a proven leader, well-versed in communications strategies, Aimee effectively guides team transformation to perform broader, proactive and strategic communications across B2B and B2C channels. Under her leadership and vision, Aimee has continuously facilitated greater brand awareness and company growth, along with significant customer engagement.

Prior to joining Alliant Energy, Aimee served as the Global Director of Marketing Communications and Downstream Engagement for a global material innovation company. In this role, she was the brand steward and led large-scale brand integration projects following billion-dollar global acquisitions. She also worked with well-known global retail brands to integrate material innovation positioning into their new product introductions.

Aimee also has more than a decade of nonprofit leadership experience, successfully guiding organizations in strategic planning, overseeing execution of all communications activities, and partnering with volunteers and organizations in developing and executing regional fundraising campaigns.

Outside of work, Aimee dedicates her time advocating on behalf of children and young women. She currently serves on the Junior Achievement and YWCA Boards of Directors in Madison, Wisconsin.

Aimee holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Fontbonne University, St. Louis, Missouri, and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Washington University, also in St. Louis. She is also a certified Master Executive Coach, from Bluepoint Leadership Development.
