Melissa Kehoe
Vice President and Treasurer
Melissa Kehoe is Vice President and Treasurer at Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT). She joined the company in 2016 as Assistant Controller after more than a decade of experience delivering assurance, advisory and global accounting services. She is responsible for oversight of the company’s strategic and regulatory financial planning, performance and analysis, financing and treasury activities and investor relations activities. She also oversees accounts payable, benefit trust administration, insurance, and risk management.
Prior to joining Alliant Energy, Melissa advanced to a director role for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she provided accounting and capital market advisory services for global companies and assurance services for public and private companies in the utility, energy, and manufacturing sectors. The role allowed her to develop her financial and leadership skills as she worked out of offices in Portland, Oregon, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Sydney, Australia.

Melissa is a problem-solver who uses her deep financial acumen, strong leadership skills and focus on continuous improvement to elevate her talented team to meet the challenges of today’s increasingly complex markets.
Melissa’s curious nature and sharp insights add value to many areas of Alliant Energy. She is a member of the company’s benefits plan committee and chairs the committee on energy risk management and trading.
Melissa lives the company’s Values at work and home. She is on the board for The Road Home of Dane County, which is committed to ending the issue of family homelessness. She is also a volunteer coach for the Girls on the Run program.
Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting, and Master of Science – Accounting, from Western Michigan University.
