Residential electric vehicle charging station rebate

Only Iowa residential customers whose accounts are in good standing are eligible for this rebate.

Rebate is available only for Level 2 (208- and 240-volt) EV charging stations.

Rebate applies to Level 2 EV charging stations purchased and installed between Jan. 1, 2022, and Dec. 31, 2022.

Used Level 2 EV charging stations may be eligible for this rebate.

Refurbished or rented EV charging stations are excluded from this rebate program.

Charging stations purchased as part of an EV bundle or otherwise included in the price of the vehicle do not qualify for this rebate.

EV charging stations gifted or won as part of a raffle or giveaway do not qualify for this rebate.

Projects must demonstrate permanence.

Level 2 EV charging stations must be Energy Star, Underwriters Laboratories or Electrical Testing Laboratories certified.

EV registration from the Department of Transportation.

Itemized sales receipt or invoice for Level 2 EV charging station.

Installation receipt or invoice.

A W-9 form if not a residential tax status.
