At this time, the majority of our customers have power restored. We are proud of the restoration work our crews have accomplished since the severe weather and high winds late Wednesday evening. We are aware of and prioritizing the areas where power remains out. Our crews continue to work as quickly and safely as possible for the 1,100 customers who remain without power across Iowa and Wisconsin. Crews continued to make progress overnight restoring power to Alliant Energy customers and the communities we’re proud to serve. As of this morning, approximately 700 Wisconsin customers and about 2,700 Iowa customers remain without power. Tree clearing, line repair and pole replacement work are ongoing and we anticipate the majority will have power restored by end of day.

Restoration efforts are still underway to get the lights back on for all customers impacted by the high winds and storms last night. Of the approximately 100,000 Alliant Energy customers who were impacted, nearly 2,300 customers in Wisconsin and 8,700 customers in Iowa remain without power at this time. We anticipate the majority will have power restored by end of day tomorrow and we appreciate your patience as our crews continue working as quickly and safely as possible to get the job done.

The lights are back on for tens of thousands of Alliant Energy customers following last night's high winds and storms. At this time, we have approximately 6,000 customers in Wisconsin and about 24,000 customers in Iowa without power. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible and we expect to have service restored for the majority of our customers by end of day tomorrow (Friday).

Overnight, severe storms impacted many of the communities we serve across Iowa and Wisconsin. As a result, there are widespread damages and outages. As soon as it was safe to do so, crews began assessing damage and working to restore services. At this time, we have restored service to about half of the impacted customers. Our crews continue working as quickly and safely as possible to get all service restored. Please continue to exercise caution, avoid downed power lines and provide our crews the space they need to safely assess damage and restore services. Our top priority is providing safe and reliable energy to the customers and communities we serve. While we hope to never see a major storm impact the communities we serve, our Alliant Energy crews are trained and prepared to safely respond to any outages that may occur.
