At this time, the majority of our customers have power restored. We are proud of the restoration work our crews have accomplished since the severe weather and high winds late Wednesday evening. We are aware of and prioritizing the areas where power remains out. Our crews continue to work as quickly and safely as possible for the 1,100 customers who remain without power across Iowa and Wisconsin. Customers can monitor progress and estimated times of restoration on our website at alliantenergy.com/outage. Thank you.

We anticipate the majority will have power restored by end of day tomorrow and we appreciate your patience as our crews continue working as quickly and safely as possible to get the job done.
Update #3 (12.16.21, 11:00 a.m.)
The lights are back on for tens of thousands of Alliant Energy customers following last night's high winds and storms. At this time, we have approximately 6,000 customers in Wisconsin and about 24,000 customers in Iowa without power. Update #2 (12.16.21 7:00 a.m.)
Overnight, severe storms impacted many of the communities we serve across Iowa and Wisconsin. As a result, there are widespread damages and outages. As soon as it was safe to do so, crews began assessing damage and working to restore services. At this time, we have restored service to about half of the impacted customers. Our crews continue working as quickly and safely as possible to get all service restored. Please continue to exercise caution, avoid downed power lines and provide our crews the space they need to safely assess damage and restore services. Update #1 (12.15.21 12:00 p.m.)
Our top priority is providing safe and reliable energy to the customers and communities we serve. While we hope to never see a major storm impact the communities we serve, our Alliant Energy crews are trained and prepared to safely respond to any outages that may occur. We consistently work to improve system resiliency and our energy grid continues to perform very well as a result. We want to remind individuals to be aware of their surroundings and avoid any downed power lines they may encounter. Residents should monitor weather reports and have a plan to take shelter in the event of a severe weather warning. To report a power outage, or to view restoration estimates, individuals can visit: alliantenergy.com/outage.
