What is the Corporate Responsibility Report?

We understand that responsibility means leaving the world a better and cleaner place for future generations – and we feel strongly about leading the way. That’s why Alliant Energy has a Corporate Responsibility Report (CRR) to hold us accountable while we serve our customers and build stronger communities through philanthropic, environmental and economic initiatives.

Alliant Energy began sharing Responsibility Reports in 2001, but back then they only addressed environmental elements. Since 2016, we’ve transitioned to Corporate Responsibility Reports, where we can reflect all the needs of the customers we serve and the communities they live in.

Our CRR is an annual report that outlines exactly how Alliant Energy is staying consistent with global energy trends that support a cleaner future, supporting communities to help them thrive, and advocating for diverse leadership within the company. To best communicate our commitment, the CRR is broken down into three components: Environmental, Social and Governance.

Check out this video on our 2022 Corporate Responsibility Report to learn how each component plays an essential role in our goal to create a brighter future. Stay tuned for more blogs on our CRR!
