Alliant Energy® Community Solar is now available to our Iowa customers with the announcement of our Cedar Rapids solar project. Don’t miss this opportunity to power your home or business with clean, hassle-free renewable energy.
Community solar is community funded and provides an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of solar without installing panels on your property. Alliant Energy builds, owns and maintains a dedicated solar garden on behalf of participating subscribers. All the energy credit is passed back to subscribers for the life of the facility.
Participation is easy. Check out our usage calculator to see your potential savings, then determine the number of blocks that fit your budget.
This project is the second of what we expect to be multiple community solar projects across Iowa and Wisconsin. Visit alliantenergy.com/communitysolar to learn more.
