Barbara Tormaschy
Senior Vice President – Sustainability and Regulatory Strategy
Barbara Tormaschy is Senior Vice President of Sustainability and Regulatory Strategy at Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT). In 2022, she was promoted to Senior Vice President with oversight of the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) programs, sustainability, regulatory strategy and solutions teams, and resource development. Barbara joined the company in 2016 as Vice President of Finance, and has overseen the financial analysis, planning, investor relations and regulatory finance functions. In February 2019, she was named Treasurer, assuming responsibilities for financing activities.
In her current role, Barbara leads the teams driving the transition to cleaner sources of energy generation and planning for future resources necessary to meet the needs of our customers. She is also responsible for developing priorities and communicating progress to our many stakeholders regarding the company’s ESG performance.
Prior to Alliant Energy, Barbara served as Vice President, Finance for a leading technology company.
Barbara is active in her community working to bring an end to family homelessness. She is the current President of the Board and Finance Committee Member for The Road Home Dane County, which works to ensure every child has a home.
Barbara has a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Pennsylvania State University. She earned an MBA from the University of Houston.
