With our Time of Day Pricing, you can reduce your business’ energy costs by using as much of your electricity as possible during lower-priced time periods.

Electricity costs fluctuate every hour of the day. During the work week, especially on hot summer days and dark winter evenings, our costs are higher due to high demand. On nights and weekends, demand for electricity goes down and so does our cost. Time-of-Day pricing plan lets you gain an advantage by using energy during the lower-cost time periods.

How does the rate work?

There are three pricing periods with our time of day rates:

rate type when it is active
Low rate
11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, plus all hours on weekends and certain holidays
High rate - Summer (June, July, August)
11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday
High rate - Winter (December, January, February)
5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday
Regular rate
All other hours

Specific rates per kilowatt-hour and KW demand (if applicable) depend on the exact rate on which you are billed. See the rates below, effective 1/1/2017 – 12/31/2018:
