If you qualify for the program, you pay just 15% of the project cost and Alliant Energy will pick up the rest. The agency will coordinate the details ensure everything runs smoothly. You can choose one upgrade at a time, or do them all at once.
At the end of the project, Alliant Energy pays for 85% of the project costs, and you pay 15% to the agency. For example, if the total project cost is $5,000, Alliant Energy pays $4,250 and you pay $750.
