New Deadline Notice: 1) Effective October 1st, 2018, Residential heating and cooling equipment installed 10/1/2018 or after is not required to complete HVAC SAVE testing to be eligible for a 2018 rebate. 2) Residential heating and cooling equipment installed between 1/1/18 and 9/30/18 is still required to complete HVAC SAVE testing by 12/31/18 to be eligible for a 2018 rebate. 3) All residential heating and cooling equipment installed 1/1/18 - 12/31/18 must submit required paperwork by 1/31/2019 to be eligible for a 2018 rebate.  4) Residential heating and cooling equipment installed 1/1/19 - 3/31/19 is not required to complete HVAC SAVE testing and  is eligible for an extended 2018 rebate only if required paperwork is filed by 4/30/19.  All deadlines are final and based on installation dates. No exceptions will be made.

SAVE stands for System Adjustment and Verified Efficiency.
The SAVE Training Program is a statewide HVAC contractor training and certification effort in Iowa, managed by the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA).
