1,391 acres of opportunity
Alliant Energy’s Big Cedar Industrial Center is comprised of 1,391 acres under option control on the southwest edge of Cedar Rapids. Work is already underway to make this Iowa’s first certified Mega Site. The site offers natural pads of 400 contiguous acres for development, while additional site engineering will create pads of 800 acres or more. The agricultural land is priced at $30,000 per acre.
Connected to anywhere
This site shines with its convenient access to transportation. The park is served by CRANDIC, one of America’s premiere short-line railroads with connections to every Class I railroad. It’s also located near the Eastern Iowa Airport, Interstate 380 and US Highways 30 and 151.
Enhanced power options
Alliant Energy will partner with prospective companies on energy solutions tailored to fit their needs. Opportunities exist for a custom micro grid, renewables and combined heat and power.
