If there’s one thing that connects most of us in the summer, it’s the love of cool air conditioning.
We hope every time you go to crank it up, you don’t worry whether you’ll have enough energy. If so, that means we’ve done our job.
Our employees are constantly upgrading the energy grid to make sure your home, your community and your workplace have reliable energy. During the summer, our planning gets tested as people use a lot of energy to keep cool.
One of the most notable investments we’re making is to upgrade our system to run at a higher voltage – this allows it to move more energy. It’s like taking county roads and turning them into highways.
To do this, we’re installing bigger and stronger equipment. We’re also putting more of our system underground, where possible.
We hope you don’t notice a difference and that every time you crank it up, we deliver.
