Performance Edge™

The competitive edge for our commercial and industrial customers in Iowa

Equipment at Hy-VeePerformance Edge™ from Alliant Energy-Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) packages energy savings with equipment improvements designed to reduce your operating costs, with little or no initial capital investment on your part.

Your Alliant Energy strategic account manager will assist with project identification and evaluation, including technology fit, economic impact and energy impact. We can also provide design assistance and project management for the installation of your new equipment.

What’s more, your energy savings are guaranteed for the life of your contract – typically three to five years. Once the contract is complete, all the energy savings go straight to your bottom line and you continue to reap the  benefits of the new equipment.

Benefits

  • Little or no up-front capital investment
  • Invest in new technology and equipment
  • Monthly payments allow for consistent budgets with no surprises
  • Maintain positive cash flow, based on energy savings
  • Maintain energy savings years after your contract is complete

How it Works
Your IPL strategic account manager will work with your business to identify energy-
saving projects and calculate the amount of energy dollars you can save. The project is paid for through energy savings and other quantifiable non-energy
savings. Non-energy savings can include environmental and safety measures.
