Renewables Incentive Program
For non-residential Wisconsin customers only
The Renewables Incentives Program is designed to encourage the implementation of cost-effective non-residential renewable energy projects. The program was developed as a voluntary initiative that provides grant and low-cost financing incentives which work in tandem with incentives available from Focus on Energy.
Incentives are available for solar electric (photovoltaic), solar thermal, wind, biomass and biogas projects meeting Focus on Energy Renewable Program requirements.
Grants are available to help government entities, schools and non-profits to purchase and install renewable energy projects. In addition, low-cost financing is available to agricultural, small business, commercial and industrial entities. All non-residential customers receiving Wisconsin Power and Light Co. (WPL) utility service on a retail rate basis are eligible to participate.
