Alliant Energy is no longer offering natural gas rebates to Minnesota customers, but customers who have made energy-efficiency purchases between January 1 and April 30, 2015 are still eligible to apply for a rebate through Minnesota Energy Resources. Customers must apply for these rebates by July 1, 2015 and can contact Minnesota Energy Resources’ customer service center for requirements.
- Minnesota Energy Resources will accept Alliant Energy natural gas energy-efficiency rebate claim forms for 60 days post-sale.
- If customers have purchased natural gas energy-efficiency equipment between January 1 and April 30, 2015 that is eligible for Alliant Energy’s rebate program, customers can use Alliant Energy rebate claim forms to apply for the rebate through Minnesota Energy Resources. Rebate applications are due by July 1, 2015 and can be mailed directly to: Minnesota Energy Resources, 1377 Motor Parkway, Suite 401, Islandia, NY 11749.
- Natural gas energy efficiency-equipment purchased on May 1, 2015 and later is subject to Minnesota Energy Resources’ energy-efficiency rebate program qualifications.
Customers will be receiving additional information through direct mail from Minnesota Energy Resources regarding their programs and services. You can also contact Minnesota Energy Resources’ customer service representatives at 1-800-889-9508 with questions.
The sale is expected to close in the third quarter of 2015. You can continue to apply for electric rebates with Alliant Energy up until our last day of providing you with service.
