Home Energy Assessment
Kick-start your monthly energy savings with a Home Energy Assessment. It’s worth up to $400, but free to all eligible Alliant Energy customers. Upgrade your assessment for $100 and you’ll get a blower door test, infrared scan and pressurized duct leakage test to further pinpoint energy wasters.
- Alliant Energy must supply your home’s primary heating energy, including electric heating or electricity if primary heating fuel is delivered fuel.
- Your home must have been built before January 1, 2005.
- If you rent, you must get your landlord’s prior approval.
A Home Energy Assessment is required before you install insulation and in order for you to be eligible to get an Alliant Energy rebate for insulation.
