SAVE Program for Iowa HVAC contractors
Starting January 1, 2011, Alliant Energy will give an extra $50 in incentive money to HVAC contractors using the SAVE Program when installing new HVAC equipment. Contractors must be SAVE certified. SAVE certification classes are scheduled across Iowa.

Updates to ENERGY STAR window qualifications
ENERGY STAR recently increased its requirements for qualifying windows, sashes and doors. Windows rated for the Northern Climate Zone (Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin), must meet .30 or less U-factor. For information, visit our Rebates section.
Changes to the commercial and multi-family insulation rebate program
Effective October 15, 2011
Key program changes:
- All business customers will be required to complete a free business energy assessment or pre-insulation assessment prior to installing insulation.
- The rebate will not exceed the estimate provided in the pre-insulation assessment.
- The customer, NOT the contractor must apply for the insulation rebate
