Payment Terms
The successful bidder will submit payment in full (plus fees and taxes, when applicable) to secure and hold the item within 10 business days after receipt of notification by email that it was the highest bidder and accordingly, that its bid was accepted by Seller. (If such payment is not made within this time frame, Seller reserves the right to e-mail the second highest bidder that it is eligible to purchase the item.) All financial transactions must be in the form of certified funds to include, money order, cashier’s check or certified bank check and must be completed prior to transferring title and possession of item. (No Cash, No Personal Checks, No Corporate Checks.)
Tax
Tax on licensed vehicles will be paid by the buyer at their local courthouse at the time of licensing. All non-licensed units only will be charged applicable sales tax as follows: Ames, IA - 7% Beloit, WI - 5.5% Burlington, IA - 7% Cedar Rapids, IA - 6% Centerville, IA - 7% Creston, IA - 7% Dubuque, IA - 7% Fond du Lac, WI - 5.5% Marshalltown, IA - 7% Mason City, IA - 7% Mineral Point, WI - 5.5% Ottumwa, IA - 7% Poynette, WI - 5.5% Spirit Lake, IA - 7%
Transporation Policy
Buyer is responsible for transporting and loading of unit at its own expense within ten (10) days after receipt of notification by email that it is the highest bidder or within three (3) days after payment of the remaining balance due. Buyer understands the vehicle is being sold “as is/where is” with all faults and with no guarantees or warranties. Units not picked up within 30 days from close of auction are subject to a storage fee of $3/day.
