Learn about energy assistance programs for low-income families, including the Hometown Energy Fund, LIHEAP, weatherization and gift certificates.
The Energy Assistance Center is an online service available to energy assistance agencies within the Alliant Energy service territory to review customer usage and payment history, and submit a promise to pay.
The federally-funded Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps qualifying households with the costs of energy used for home heating and cooling, while the Weatherization Assistance Program helps reduce the heating and cooling costs for low income families by improving the energy efficiency of their homes.
