The safest way to pay your Alliant Energy utility bill is to use the return envelope provided with your billing statement or by enrolling in one of our convenient electronic payment programs.
If you misplace the return envelope, mail your check AND bill stub to:

The return envelope we provide is bar-coded for faster delivery, so please do not use this envelope for other correspondence.
Please do not send cash or any correspondence in the payment envelope. Alliant Energy cannot be held liable for missing cash payments or crediting to your account record.
To make sure your check is processed quickly and accurately, do not staple anything to the payment stub or check. Please include your new account number with your payment.
If you need to know how much you owe or when we received your payment, you can view your account information online through My Account. It takes just a few minutes to register, and you’ll have access to your current balance, payment history and recent bills.
If you cannot pay your bill in full by the due date, contact us right away to arrange a payment plan.
