It’s available for land developers and industrial parks currently being developed in Iowa communities served by Alliant Energy. This program offers tree-planting grants specifically to industrial parks to encourage energy efficiency, environmental awareness and support economic growth.

Eligibility
The industrial park must be located in Iowa and receive its electricity and/or natural gas from Alliant Energy. You must also have people and resources available to care for your new trees.
How to apply
Applications should be submitted by the owner/developer of the industrial park.

Grant cycle and deadlines
For the fall grant cycle, materials must be postmarked by August 15th. For the spring grant cycle, materials must be postmarked by March 15th.. Grant recipients will be announced one month after the application deadline.
