Communiversity
The Alliant Energy Foundation’s community grants program contributes to educational efforts, as well as arts and culture, human needs, civic and environmental projects. Grants are awarded to initiatives and programs that address community needs and benefit a large number of people.
|
For example, the Alliant Energy Foundation is a proud sponsor of the Communiversity Dialogs; a series of lectures dedicated to bringing leaders in the non-profit world to the University of Wisconsin campus to discuss key contemporary issues. ] Through these sessions, the UW Center for Non-profits provides innovative research, education, and engagement opportunities for current and future non-profit leaders. A $7,500 Community Grant from the Foundation helps to fund the Communiversity sessions, online access to the series content at centerfornonprofits.wisc.edu, and a two and a half day seminar entitled “Fundraising and Development Strategies for Non-profit Executives.” |
