The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve by supporting health and human services programs, education endeavors, cultural initiatives and environmental efforts.

Employee and Retiree Volunteers
Alliant Energy employees and retirees proudly volunteer their time and talents in their local school, churches and community groups. To support their efforts, the Alliant Energy Foundation's Volunteer Program provides grants of $100 or more to non-profit organizations in the volunteer's name.

Matching Gifts
In support of employee and retiree efforts to make a difference in the world around them, the Alliant Energy Foundation offers employees and retirees a Matching Gifts Program. The program provides dollar-for-dollar matches for donations to qualifying non-profit associations.

Riverland Conservancy
Riverland Conservancy currently holds about 2,000 acres of wetlands, prairie, oak savanna and river bluffs in Wisconsin and Iowa. The Conservancy is supported through human and financial resources donated by Alliant Energy, as well as through numerous partnerships with local, state and national groups

Stewards of Nature activities help stabilize ecosystems, promote a greater understanding of the natural world through field trips and seminars, and strengthen Alliant Energy's company-wide environmental ethic.
